About us

The Queensborough Heritage Project was initiated by the Backroom Theatre Club.

Besides our interest in the performing arts in general, and video documentaries in particular, we have a love for New Westminster and cherish the strong heritage that has gone into making our city.

Shooting films is a huge part of life in New Westminster. Making documentaries in video is a growing performing art and very much part of what the Backroom Theatre Club is active in.

We cannot do the project on our own, we are theatre people, not heritage experts! So we will work closely with the City staff, the Queensborough Special Programs Committee, as well as the residents, organizations and businesses in Queensborough.
